robbielisa 11
Hiya all, i've had a hob for the last two years ( found him while out walking ) so unsure of his age. Was thinking of adding a couple of jills do you think he would except them after all this time alone ? Quote Link to post

The one 8,522
Nows the best time to mix or add a few to a group as there not in season i just clean out the hutch mixing them in the carrying box while i do it and feed them when i put them back in the hutch usually they sniff each other then get stuck into the rabbit afterwards they have full bellys and are too tired to scrap so go for a kip 1 Quote Link to post
youcanthide...BANG 1,051
I had a bit of a nightmare putting my two unrelated hobs together, everytime i put them in together they both went hell for leather with each other, so what i did was sit in front of the cage and as soon as they started gave them both smack, after 4-5 times as soon as i opened up the cage door when they were starting they were running to the next box, sounds a little brutal but it worked brilliantly, no more fighting since. And it was proper fighting as in they both really wanted to do damage, not just the harmless play fights. So if everything else doesnt work maybe try what i did Quote Link to post
GreyRake 108
Try get them eating together and just keep an eye on them for a while. Even if theres just a few dominance fights it should still be ok. If there's alot of fighting then just have them together for short periods regularly under supervision until it settles.
