BITCH 135
you wont break some lines of black stuff to stock no matter how hard you try, cant even let the little b*st*rds off the leads but got to ask yourself,- "would they be as useful to ground,if they wasn,t so game". I beg to differ, ANY dog can be broke to stock if done from a pup. thats your opinion, but i talking from my experience,s with a mate,s line!!!!! you might think they,re steady to stock, but and even more so this time of year, when they not getting much work. Guest oldskool
i agree with shay, any dog can be stock broken when its done as a pup and reinforced regularly... my own are steady but i ran them with another unsteady dog that i'd bought in and he set the whole thing off... i had to get rid of the poor dog and start reinforcing stock breaking my own... some of them learnt with the long rope method but a few just learned to do it when i was out of sight like over a hill or somethin ... once they get a taste for it its very difficult to curve Quote Link to post
