ChrisJones 7,975
The start of this article, from The Independent, goes... Paul Lister, the multi-millionaire heir to the MFI furniture fortune, is a firm believer that wolves and bears are far more effective culling machines than men with guns – and much better for nature. Have a read... what do you think? Could this revolutionize hunting, game management? Will it benefit the ecosystem? Or after nearly half of a millenia is just a pipe dream that's destined to f**k the place up even more?

neems 2,406
Sounds dangerous. I think we should ban shooting and only use domesticated wolves for hunting... Joking before any of homosex...shooters take offence.

ChrisJones 7,975
I tend to agree on the likelihood of it happening... But bears and wolves culling antis, in the field, would be pretty f***ing awesome in my book.
Accip74 7,112
I totally agree, but 'urban foxes' seem too much for Britain at the moment......let alone wolves & bears lol
ChrisJones 7,975
As someone very recently pointed out to me (thanks Pete!) How do you contain them? 50,000 acres will require some extreme fencing and maintenance. Not to mention the lifestock predation that will inevitably crop up when the food goes short...
