Cracking shots...

Went there the other week with my mrs..

She bottled it and went up Lattrigg instead :icon_redface:

Latrigg is still on my "to do" mate so she's ahead of me lol..I had to laugh today a young lass in her early twenties was whinging and whining at her chap and not even a third of the way up..I had to comment and say wait until you reach the last third haha..she had trainers on and a vest top..not a jacket kind lol..lird knows what happened when they reached the ice and snow further up? Her chap had the gear on but her choice of clothing was ludicrous for heading up there..probably another mountain rescue candidate? You know better than me just because the weather is fine at the bottom it doesn't mean it will be on those tops..ive seen it at the bottom where the wind wouldn't blow a candle out and when you get a couple of thousand feet up it nigh on lifts you off the ground..I wasnt best prepared today with just jeans on but I had good footwear, decent jacket; hats, gloves, waterproofs etc ..a fooking vest top and trainers haha..she will defo learn the hard way ")
