it was £53 for the 3-9x50 AO

didn't fancy paying more for the Iluminated Ret version as I wouldn't really use it anyway.

and its just going to be on my 77 plinking rifle, so thought why not go for a 30/30 ret for a change from the usual mildots ;)

will still hunt with the combo like but mainly it will be a plinker.

got my hw100 .22 for hunting :boogy:

And yes mate can't argue at that price can you

Christmas is coming and a new rifle is hopefully on the horizon

Maybe a 97 kt or if I save for a bit longer after Christmas then maybe a 100

Decisions decisions lol ;)

with that stock on my hw100 I cant resist the XXX rated gunporn!

just been rubbing it down with an oiley rag, aswell as the 77 and the 98

once a week wipe down (and when they get home from a shooting trip) keeps them looking tiptop and nice and shiney. :D

hope we will meet up at the THL spring meet bigmac mate :gunsmilie::hunter:

I wouldn't be able to take that stock within 100 yards of a muddy field lol

;)

LOL its just a tool for a job! I try look after it tho

might buy a cheap beech stock off a hw101 and spray it camo, to cut down the risk of scratching my beautifull walnut hw100 stock :hmm:

im a springer man at heart, and if I cant beat people with a springer then I don't want to beat them with a pcp

Fetches back shooting the cans out the back with the old man "now lad you don't hold her , you rock her back and forth with your breathing "

Haha

to me shooting my hw100kt is like playing COD or battlefield. wherever the cross is the pellet goes!! too easy!

but with the springer you have to be more in tune with it, and alert to any slight mistake you make, or it will punish you!

hold position, amount of gripping/ cradleing , eye relief and head position being consistent.. breathing technique, trigger control.! the list goes on

its not just point and shoot! especially at longer ranges!

and when you get it right and put 5 out of 5 shots all under a 5p, in a breeze, with a springer at 50yards, you feel very damn good about yourself!! :boogy::D:toast:
