Well I Did It

Well after not being out for a while because of work I was like a grizzly bear with no tree to scratch his ass on lol

So had a busy morning clearing out the sheds etc

And then it was time for a bit of trigger therapy so take a quick walk up the lane to a little woods not far from the house step into the woods gun out of the case and straight away there's a woody sat perfectly just waiting to be knocked down

But I resisted as I have to rezero the rifle first as I haven't used her for a while so any way after a hefty 10 minutes zeroing and realising I was a bit stiff due to not getting out much I was happy with the groups and I was off

And guess what nothing atall to be seen any where

So anyway had a walk about popped open the pasty and flask had 5 minutes enjoying the view

Get up and can't believe it a rabbit at about 15 yards

So slowly raise the hw and the rabbit just falls asleep on the spot with piece of lead in its head

So far so good

Rabbit picked up and gutted with a new Opinel no 7 I had bought for me off a mate ( cheers pal worked a treat )

And I was off , plenty of action over head from the crows and Maggie's but nothing sitting well

So kept working to another patch of woodland and take up a rest on a nice sitty tree

And wait for about 5 minutes and a woody lands at about 40 yards and is sat very still so feeling confident in the bird staying put I took the shot and damn it was a nice one too

Fell without a flutter

So knowing this is a busy spot I left it be and sat still

After about another 10 minutes another woody lands on the same branch great I thought and then I noticed a Maggie just be hind so which to go at well I decided to mix up the bag and go for the Maggie only to miss and send both flying off

Well it's was time to get home for the rugby

And feed the ferrets some tea

So happy to be back out and getting results and I can assure you I won't be leaving for too long until in back out

Iv had a good walk round to night but with the cold then the ground frost and the ground mist rolling in i thought f**k this im going home plus i had to dry the scope every five mins for the condensation off the mist atvbmac :thumbs:
