MIDLAND GAME FAIR WESTON PARK SHROPSHIRE ALL SHIRES FERRET CLUB & ARTHUR CARTER FIELDSPORTS, are holding a Net Making Championship throughout the duration of the weekend of the Midland Game Fair to be held on the 15TH & 16TH SEPTEMBER 2007. The rules of the competition are that a net, of your choice, has to be knitted at the stand using the string and rings provided. You may, if you wish, use your own mesh board, & needle. Mesh boards and needles are available, upon request, should they be required. Due to the over whelming success of children entering the comp last year it has been decided to run a seperate junior section for 16 year olds & under. THE ENTRY FEE WILL BE £1.00 PER NET. Entries are unlimited. The judging of all entries will take place on Sunday afternoon. WINNER The winner will be awarded the coveted Sterling Silver Needle Trophy (which is returnable to the Chairperson of THE ALL SHIRES FERRET CLUB on an annual basis), plus lots more prizes to be won.
