wouldn't need to buy another dog

I would have thought most of the dogs being worked at the moment are versatile enough to take the odd roe or hare

two running dogs for chasing plastic bags, fawn dog rising 4 next year, the bitch is 18 months,

If i was to pick just one dog for both jobs i want somthing that topped out around 26", maybe saluki/whippet cross DH/GH, i,v never had a dog with saluki blood in it but theres better types available now than when i was running bigger dogs so i,d give it a try, never too old to learn  . While iam on i,v got a 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy here around 21/22" goes mad when she drops on the scent of a Roe, god knows what she,ll do if she ever comes face to face with one, any one ever had a simular size and type, bring down a Roe single handed, pre ban of course  , atb, buster.

Got a 22 and a half inch to the shoulder collie grew that would take them if there wasn't a ban on ;). Not ideal though it can turn into a war and there's potential for a lot of damage to the meat if your not on the scene quickly. He also retrieves shot hares

Very game and very focused mate. I was a bit dissapointed at the height he made but hes proven to me what a lot of determination can do.
