Over Shooting

It's just some thing he will pick up on the more you run him my big dog used too do it when I started him they soon figure out how a bunny will run its actually funny how much they change when you first start them then to when they get into there second season

we used to have a 28inch 85lb dog that over shot into the next county and then lost sight altogether, but when he got it eventually he did some fantastic catches.lots of practice but give them ones that are out a bit to give him a chance.

My whippet xs is like you are describing when she strikes she gets all fours off ground looks like a dart and always over shooting and falling over how she as not injured her self is beyond me I've been told when they find there strike these type of dogs can make some of the best ones fingers crossed lol.
