Kemo1982 15
Went out lamping last night with the old man, trying to get his new pup some good runs. Not the best of nights I know, however didn't want to be sitting in the house. So off we went 11am to destination. First 3 fields and not a red eye in sight. Walking to the 4th field and see's a lamp! No wonder there was not any red eyes! Back to the car we went, tried somewhere different, another 20 mins drive. By this time it's nearly 1am and no run. Gets to destination, quick fag, off we go! 1st 2 fields nothing! 3rd 4/5rabbits 70 yards in field picks one out slips dog, couple of turns later one dead rabbit. Rabbit retrieved to hand, dog back on slip, quick flick, squatter 70 yards, walking to squatter hears a vehicle travelling at speed, lamp off, looks round! Lamp in my eyes! 2 fellas/brave fellas 'get off these fields and don't let me see see ya again' one voice says ok I replied, 31 years of age I am and never been caught lamping, been at it since aged 12. I know they are only doing a job, but what us the problem with taking a rabbit or 2? Quote Link to post
