nans pat 2,575
Every gate up where we hunt has bits of rope tied round them then wire in through the lock hole. I know farmers are hungry cuxts when it comes to money and lead a sheltered childhood i was thinking they must give their kids bits of rope for xmas .why do they love tying knots.is it in thier breeding. No eye deer 22
One farm I go on is like this so I open the gate and tie it up so much in so many knots that you'd need a rope spanner to open it. Lol Quote Link to post

Snifferboy 659
9 times out of 10 where we go, it's frayed to the extent you don't know where the knot starts and where it finishes, I went out and put "bailer cord" on the gates on my permission and got told off by the farmer because the old stuff was good for another few years! Not stingy though just resourceful 1 Quote Link to post
