Outlaw Pete 2,224
I think I'm paying 50c for a chickens tit, breaded and shot through with a line of garlic butter. (F**king gorgeous!) from my local, very real, butcher. Never so much as handled a partridge before in my life. But, from looking at them? Little things. I can't see them as being worth more than ten bob a brace. Why anyone outside of parliament, or a padded cell would pay a fiver a f**king brace is completely beyond me! neil cooney 10,416
IMO there's no tastier a game bird than a partridge and in these hard times when a free range chicken is nearly a tenner but you can get a brace of partridge for less than half the price of a pint it's amazing more people don't want them. As for feeding them to ferrets ?????????????? Hanging offence IMO, LOL.

The one 8,511
I asked the butcher last week how much if I dropped a roe off and he made it into burgers said it would cost too much ,but quoted eight quid to prepare a pheasant and three quid to skin and gut a rabbit for me .then he said there's no such thing as a game licence any more so he had no problem peeping game for customers who shot there own
