Marine Found Guilty Of Murder

Recommended Posts

feck me what about some of the major war crimes over the years ---- surely at some stage this could of been hushed up.

The British government have tried playing dumb with embarassing military incidents in the past and when they came out they looked twice the c**ts they would have if they had just fronted up about it from the off. The fact a digital video was out there was probably considered too much of a risk to try to cover up, not to mention how fast word would probably have spread around the cop shop. It was probably too late to make that choice. If it had been discovered entirely from within the corps then things may have been played differently perhaps....

How are they immoral? If the sandal was on the other foot, he would be taken to a cave somewhere and his head cut off with a bread knife.   Live by the sword die by the sword imo   I don't thin

He should have claimed it was 'Pre Ban'

So that he would have been saved patched up and returned to his village so that he could plant an IED or shoot a British soldier so that a baby in the uk loses a daddy or a Mother loses a son ........

I have mixed emotions what took place, it has come to light by accident but he was heard to say i have just broke the geneivoir convetion he. Knew he was commiting a crime he also put his comrades in a situation. The taliban do not regonise any convention ,

But to walk over to a criticaly wounded human being and shoot him in the stomach not cricket but the same people have no compasion when laying ied's so live by the sword die by the sword , he will serve his time for murder but live his life regreting one moment of maddnes , or in his head he took retrobution Only the man himself knows

f*****g cameras have no place on the front line imo.. What the hell was the footage kept for, posterity?

Who knows, the marine may have downloaded the footage and deleted it only for it to be recovered by CID.......

The guilty marine has been caught bang to rights, can't grumble really, he acknowledged guilt on camera........ However I completely sympathise with his actions and can't say I wouldn't behave the same. You've just found an injured insurgent from an enemy that think nothing of fighting as dirty as imaginably possible and you're expected to have sympathy....... The RMs are sent to do the toughest jobs our forces encounter, we don't select and train the hardest warriors we have to offer to then expect them to be gentlemenly with a less than civilised enemy.

The marines in Afghanistan don't do anything different than the rest of the infantry out there ........

Socks utmost respect to all serving soldiers, especialy in warzones But Marines, Paras and SAS Generaly are up to a better standard and take on tougher assignments than other Infantrymen/women , Soldiers surely.

Getting back to this lad, where is the solidarity within our Country.

FFS Them c**ts behead folk for fun.

Right or Wrong so long as its not innocent women or children getting it then sweep it under the table.

Casualtys of war and he was a insurgent ffs.

The paras and marines do the same as infantry regiments on land based jobs ... Obviously the marines are the water born experts and the paras jump out of planes ... The sas are in a different league altogether ..........

war is not black and white or governed by the queensbury rules. anything can and does happen both good and bad, we send lads into harms way to crush insurgents who by their nature are cowardly, lying cheating sneaky b*****ds who no respect for human life , so he shot and killed one, is that not what he was sent there to do? the circumstances are simple he was part of a group of two who were attacking our military!! he got killed or is it a case of once you're injured all your previous sins are absolved, he should be awarded a medal not dragged in front of a court.

No no no paulus you are supposed to treat him on the ground at risk to yourself then get him back to bastion where they will treat him with the best medicine and feed him up and wash his clothes .... And when he is all better they let him walk out of the gates so he can plant more ieds to kill the lads that saved his life ...........
