C Hall 552 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Share Posted November 7, 2013 I bought the components (reflector, ceramic bulb holder) 15 year ago wired it up myself and have had no trouble with blowing bulbs. Any animal food supplies or farm supplies should stock heat lamps. Quote Link to post

Im considering investing in one but it will need to be plugged into a socket in the house, im concerened with regards to damp causing electrical problems in the bulb holder and water possibly getting into it?? or should i stick with good bedding and a coat for safety ??
