Rabbit Hunter 6,613
I've had Lowa's for 3 seasons, and I think they're a good pair of boots. Just bought a pair of Altberg Warriors in brown, my mate is in the Para's and reckons they're the best boots as it's what they use and they're in them everyday doing miles. So I'll be starting with them next season. Quote Link to post

killa-combo 142
Anyone tried the altberg gamekeepers? Or crispi steggs? Quote Link to post
Hawkeye. 26
I've had Crispi Stegg boot's for 2 year's and love them. They need new insoles now and have had a few pairs of laces but the leather is still great. The vibram soles have worn a little due to road work . I use built up insoles in shoe's and wellies but these boot's don't need them . Very comfortable from new , grip better than anything else i've worn hunting which might be because of the tread pattern . One boot did start squeeking when i walked which apparently was to do with the Vibram sole not the boot , they wouldn't replace as I'd had them over 12 mths , sound has gone since . Would I get another pair . . . absolutely yes. 1 Quote Link to post
