Phil Lloyd 10,738
I don't use them a lot, these days,.(don't need to,..mine don't run much )....but,..when I was 'walking by night' on a regular basis,.it made sense to look after the dogs.. They definitely kept the wolf from ,.(several doors),..and after a long night on the rabbits or deer,.they needed to be well grubbed up and bedded down,.. nice and warm.. Guys who cannot be arsed to cosette their valuable workers,.are fools to themselves.... Edited November 5, 2013 by Phil Lloyd 12 Quote Link to post

thefensarefarbutistillgo 2,482
Think they only need coats on at nite when it drops below zero or they can get to nesh and take them off in the day or they won't feel the benefit at nite 1 Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
Mine get rugged up if its cold or if theyve had a hard night. I will be putting heat lamps in soon though as my white dog really loses condition if hes having a few days hard work cant beat opening the kennel door and seeing them stretched right out instead of curled right up for warmth. 3 Quote Link to post
Hot Meat 3,109
Good warm meal before bedding down for the night also works wonders for dogs that are fit, insulate from Inside out 6 Quote Link to post
