TOMO 27,414
Do what socks said,,, it always amazes me to watch other people trying to rub a spilt liquid away with a damp cloth,,lol Towels down and stand on them,,do the same with house training a puppy's accidents,, although kitchen towel is usually good enough for that,, just remember to put shoes on or you will get a wet foot

Carpet will dry within a few days easily looking at it. Whole house is getting new floors downstairs anyway and carpet upstairs. Luckily when I buy my own place I plan on having marble flooring through out. Not sure if ill have it in all 12 rooms though lol

walshie 2,804
I'd leave it to dry naturally and avoid stepping in it with socks on until it is. Top tip.
Suzy Ross 236
A full bucket of water lol. What I'd like to know is how sore was your foot after standing on the plug? Think yourself lucky it was only the carpet, it can dry, it could have easily been the tv.
