pianoman 3,587
I've heard that grey squirrels can even survive a shotgun blast so, I use my HW80 for Grey Squirrels. A .22 FTT with 21ft/lbs behind it is the best power/caliber combination for these buggers. I'm not out to hurt them or injure them. A humane kill through their heads, or heart and lungs through a very tough hide sorts them out fast. I've bagged hundreds of grey squirrels with this rifle and none has ever survived a direct hit in the right spot from it. Quote Link to post
bilbobagins 92
try jsb or AA field they are a bit heavier at 16 grn and a softer lead compound so deform more good accurate round too Quote Link to post
