21dangermouse 86
I will be putting in for my shotgun and fac soon and with regards to gun cabinet i'am looking for advice? Is their a particular manufacture that you would recommend or avoid? Where's is the best place to buy one from? Cheers Quote Link to post
mr_magicfingers 1
I have a small, 4 gun cabinet for shotguns but will have to get something bigger next year with a separate ammunition section when I go for my FAC. Everywhere i've looked for reviews the same company seems to be mentioned, Brattonsound. I think they're a premium brand but everyone seems to like them. Alternatively, look on ebay, there's often a few on there and you might find something local or ask on here. Quote Link to post
meldino2005 39
Id go for brattonsound mate,i have one which is the deep one to accomadate scoped rifles. I bought mine of ebay for a good price so worth a look on there. Good luck with your licences Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
+1 for Brattonsound. Mid-priced but very well made. FEOs love them. We have 3 in our house. Just do an online search for the model you want and the best price as most of them come straight from the manufacturer rather than the place you buy it from. Quote Link to post
kruby01 114
+1 for brattonsound. I'm 99% sure mine is a brattonsound. Its unlabelled but it looks exactly the same design. My friend also has a brattonsound. You can't go wrong! Quote Link to post

Hawkeye. 26
JFC gun safes are worth looking at . When comparing safe's it's worth getting dimention's. Some safe's have very thick door's to accommodate the lock mechanism which means less room inside the safe and less room when taking the gun out through the door opening. Also look for metal edges around the door frame that can accidentally damage the woodwork when your placing in or removing the gun . Also worth getting a bigger safe than you need . eg , if you have one gun then get a 3 gun safe to give you plenty of room . JFC engineering gun safes. Quote Link to post

compoundarcher 35
brattonsound.... but don't make the mistake of buying a small one before you know it it will become to small....and your regret not getting a bigger one...if you have the room go for 5 plus scoped rifle gives you room for 2-3 rifles and a shotgun just....
