lurchers2533 22 Posted November 3, 2013 Report Share Posted November 3, 2013 ive got 2 ferrets ive had few years now.the plan was to work them with me lurchers.but it never happened due to this and that.i should be getting some land to use soon and was wondering if the ferrets will be up for the job.theyve not been worked before so will they still do the job??or am i better off getting a young one an starting from scratch?any advice please?thanks Quote Link to post

I took 2 litter brothers out today, both reared exactly the same- one was flying straight to ground and I dug him out in the first burrow, his brother was reluctant to enter occupied burrows, but keen to rag a dead rabbit.... hunting is an art, not a science so you never know what'll happen!! try em a few times and see! good luck!
