Safety Glasses.....

Recommended Posts

Decided to approach things a little 'safer' when practice shooting....

More so for my lads benefit than mine.... he has a few 'misfires' which sends the ammo in every direction....

One thing youll never get back is your sight.....so thought best i led by example... and make him wear them....

So.... already had these balistic glasses (also have goggles i use for drilling etc)....they have interchangeable lenses... dark... yellow and clear....

Now, these work...for sure...

A mate had shrapnel all over his face... and the area where his glasses were... was clear....

Ross (RM)...came over for an hour today... and we decided to shoot at an older lens.... see how much abuse it could really take... the position was unnatural...splayed out on a bit of wood which woukd immediatley put the lens at a disadvantage....

We fired a few shots at it with 12mm steel... and not so much as a scratch.... and yes...we did hit it! ...

We twatted it with a few more shots... 14mm lead and EVENTUALLY.... a small piece cracked off....

A few more hits...and we were bored  ....

So..yes, these do work.... and ill keep using them.... be worth their weight in gold... should they save you a shot to the eyeball ;)

Not at all, mate ! Wanted something that looks cool and gives a bit of safety - sick of buggering up my polarised fishing glasses.

If you do happen to come across them, I will happily purchase.................................

Buying some tubes off dankung...cheapest supplier by far BTW...

And came across these safety glasses.... OK...they wont be as good as the military issued ones...

But for $11..free postage... works out at £6.80...

If they stop something just ONCE.... and you have to bin

Well..
