Adam1990 24
Im amazed, just had to share. I dont know if any of you remember a few months back i took my bull x out with gaz1989, conclusion needed alot of work! Recall being the main one, hunting up massively but with v high prey drive. Since then ive been doing abit of long line training and generaly getting out with him. Ive also kenneled him and he has settled down alot. Anyway ive recently just got a new working bitch with very good recall as soon as the lamps of shes by ur side. So ive bin taking them both letting him watch her, with the odd slip to stop him getting wound up to which hes hunted up loads.....but tonight hes had 2 slips missed both unfortunatly, but im not bothered! A quick whistle and he was straight back 2 out of 2 small steps i know. But im over the moon just had to share 10 Quote Link to post
mintstick999 485
Doesn't matter that he didn't catch them two rabbits (that will come another day) but the coming back to your side must of made you feel good after all the training you've put in mate. 1 Quote Link to post

Dranny GLC 112
I no the feeling pal 2 weeks ago I was ready to give up on mine for hunting up i would slip him down the beam and if he missed it he would hunt up the hole field till he ad scared everything away and decide to come back about 5 minutes later. so for the last resort I got a electric shock collar and it worked brilliantly he comes back straight away and I don't Evan av to shock him it has a warning vibration button do I just use that and he nose to come back. Then once he back to me On the slip i scan the field and off he goes again. Better for him and me. Quote Link to post

Hot Meat 3,109
Don't want to piss on your fire pal, but just be careful in case dog resorts back to hunting up when moon start a coming back up, lots of dogs that hunt up will come straight back on real dark nights, but when the nights start getting a bit lighter they can't help them selves, hope not tho and your dog is sorted ad you's have lots of fun over the next few seasons Quote Link to post
