g13 0
Was told the schmidt & bender 3-12x50 is one of the best scopes for foxing at night for the money, for anybody who has one or another schmidt & bender are they really worth the money? :-)

Lower power scopes usually win in the night shooting game the meopta 7x50 fix power are very popular and there not to pricey. Ive a few friends who love burris for there foxing rigs. andyf 144
In short 'expensive' scopes are not 'worth' the money. (Any of them S&B Leupold, Nightforce, Ziess etc etc) However; Are they any good, YES THEY ARE Are they better than a 'cheap' scope YES THEY ARE So you pay yours money!! An old keeper friend of mine used to say 'Spend your money on the scope and the change on the rifle'. AndyF

fireblade_rrw 20
My advice as always is, burst the bank on the scope. Swaro, Zeiss, SB, Docter all have outstanding optics. Are they worth £1000 +? of course not, but buying anything with less quality is a big compromise. Edited November 12, 2013 by fireblade_rrw
