I had a day with Cumberland farmers last season..

 

They border onto each other.. Its a nice bit of country out that way..

old song ive never been out with them i know a man who used to do a bit of terrier work for em. ime out with a joint meet on Saturday with the greatest fell packs in the lakes, and a singing comp afterwords

yes get out quite regular as i live near them now,i'm also walking a hound pup for them.

peter wyber was huntsman for the farmers mate different pack to the cumberland foxhounds,the farmers huntsman now just does it on foot,caused a bit of upset i think,i know a few of the horsey people have started following the c/land foxhounds as there a mounted pack still.

I had a good day with them.. Seen four and any amount of deer..

 

If we get some long periods of frost and I cant get my dogs out. I will go again this season

Hi all, really good photos, I enjoyed looking at those!

 

Just joined this forum as I used to go to the Cumberland Farmers hunts with my parents when Peter Wybergh was the man in charge, and as its been many years thought I should show my my support again, but I want to take my girlfriend to see a mounted hunt and I understand the Cumberland Farmers are now on foot?

 

Could anyone PM me details or just reply on here with meet details for the Cumberland mounted pack please as I would like to go to a few this season if I can.
