I was reminded today that i knew a lad running a saluki cross back in 1980, that was the first decent one i ever saw, in fact during the miners strike in 84 he used it to pull down sheep, not that he was on strike, he didnt work down the pit, but he found a ready market for the meat during the strike, he eventuly got caught and served time for his deed's, dont know what happend to the dog, buster.
