here is a poem that mrs moby has written

SHADOWS OF THE MIST

HE STANDS ALONE WITH HIS FAITHFUL FRIEND BY HIS SIDE,

THE HEART OF THE HUNTSMAN THAT BEATS WITH PRIDE,

WHISPERS OF TIME PLAY WITH THE AIR,

AS A FAITHFUL FRIEND TELLS HIS MASTER THERES SOMETHING THERE,

HIS EAGERNESS TO SEE WHAT THIS LITTLE WARRIOR CAN HEAR,

AS HIS MASTER SLIPS HIS COLLAR HE SHOWS NO FEAR,

FOR THIS LITTLE WARRIOR KNOWS HIS JOB,

IM COMING FOR YOU CHARLIE RUN YOU SOD,

HIS HEART BEATS FASTER I NO YOUR HERE,

BE STILL IN YOUR EARTH MY RED COATED ENEMY,

TO ME YOUR FUTURE IS CLEAR,

HIS CRIES TO HIS MASTER AS THIS LITTLE WARRIOR GOES TO GROUND,

THE INTRODUCTION OF THE KILL WILL COME WITH NO SOUND,

BANG HE LUNGES IN HIS WORLD BELOW,

YOUR NOT SO SLY ARE WE NOW MR FOX,

WHEN THERES NO WERE LEFT TO GO,

HE LUNGES BACK WITH BLOODY INTENT,

AS THIS LITTLE WARRIOR,

DOES THE JOB FOR WHICH HE WAS SENT,

HIS JAWS LOCK IN BATTLE TEARING IN TO HIS SKIN,

BUT THIS LITTLE WARRIOR FIGHTS WITH A LIONS HEART,

AND FOR HIS MASTERS LOVE FROM WITH IN,

HE GOES FOR THE THROAT AND LOCKS ON ONCE MORE,

OLD CHARLIE WONT GIVE UP SO EASILY THATS FOR SURE,

THIS TIME HE HOLDS ON LOCKING AND SHAKING HIS KILL,

AS ECHOES OF A LITTLE WARRIORS CRIES THROUGH THE AIR SPILL,

HIS MASTER BREAKS THROUGH WITH FEAR THAT FILLS HIS HEART,

PLEASE GOD LET HIM BE SAFE,

FOR WITH HIM I COULD NOT PART,

THE LITTLE WARRIOR SITS PROUD HES DONE HIS JOB,

WITH THE LOVE OF HIS MASTER AND A WINK FROM GOD,

FOR HIS BATTLE IS WON AND HIS LIFE HE WILL KEEP,

WERE THE SHADOWS OF A HUNTSMAN WILL STAND IN THE MIST,

AND A WARRIOR HIS FAITHFUL FRIEND WILL REST AT HIS FEET,

Good one [bANNED TEXT]!

I really like this piece of writing from one of j.darcys books i think. not a poem but well written.

A terrier crawls into the earth and deliberately places himself in the greatest possible danger. He forces his way into uncomfortable situations which may cost him his life. He strives to get into close proximity with his oponent , and when he does, he makes life extremely difficult for that opponent. He barks, he bites, he nips, he holds, he bolts or he kills. Sometimes, he himself loses his life.

Why? Why?

A working terrier does not do all this to feed himself. He does not kill to eat. He does so from some basic instinct which tells him that he must destroy this creature which stands before him. He must, he can do no other, for this is what he was bred for.

To serve his master in pursuit of the varmint.
