TOMO 26,264
I think it's plain to see they ain't going to be getting the massive bags that's possible with some lurchers types,,, but they can rattle off enough rabbits for most lads,,, and they can drop a few other bits,,, but there great to watch,, you just have to be sensible ,, I like them great fun dogs 4 Quote Link to post
Suzy Ross 236
I've got one, never had him collapse on me yet. I'm not into big bags though and he tends to get the job done pretty sharp. He's had the odd long chase accidentally, don't think he'd ever make a 3 out of 3 dog but get the odd one as he's done many a time. Quote Link to post

sandymere 8,263
Horses for courses, a friend had one and he was never happy with it as it couldn’t compete with other friend’s saluki hybrids on hares but on the lamp, slip bang rabbit in the bag! I've have happily had it off him one of the best lampers I've seen. Quote Link to post
Flacko 1,747
Well said gafer Quote Link to post
Dranny GLC 112
Iv got a a whippet x greyhound pup he 6 months and I'm happy with him so far his training is coming on well recall and retrieving sit and stay. Don't no much about this type of breed don't no anyone with one I bought him off a judge at a show after a few beers just hope he does the job and not too timid and shivery when out ferreting or cold nights lamping. shaaark 10,851
As gafer said, a lot of bollox talked about these types. Give him a bit of time, and timid and shivery I don't think you'll find him, looks a very nice dog Quote Link to post
