Never shot an R10 but from what I have found you can answer the calibre question without linking it to a particular model. Once you have answered the calibre question, you can then choose a model on what the things that matter to you.....

Haven't been shooting seriously for very long, but that's what I have found.

My personal choice would be .22 for hunting, .177 for targets.

Cheers

I love my R10, it's my 'go to' PCP.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I would by new as to get the best out of them, they could do with a service from XTX, John Bowkett, Rancid Tom... the list goes on. Mine was serviced and X tuned by XTX three years ago and it's still averaging 11.3 ft lbs with very little deviation and can put a tight one hole group together at 40yds. Not bad for £550 for gun, tune and postage.

All in all, a proper hunting gun. Mine's .22 but .177 do just as well if you hit the Kill Zone.

bsa r10 very good

caliber you need to be thinking what path your going down target or hunting path to decide what caliber is best for that

or you could go in-between and go for a .20 but if you come to sell it you will never get rid of it becuse .20 not popular

and more people want .177 or .22
