B.P.R 2,798
Made this buffer for the catapults a few days ago.... certainly cuts out all that hand buffing..... and witth a layer of beeswax.... left for 10 minutes... then buffed...gives a super smooth...super shiny finsh.... Thought id share this with anybody interested .... I cut out an old towel....any material thats nice and soft should work.... Next i used a bolt...about 4" long....and a few washers.... Cutting a TINY hole in the centre of the circles... i put them over the bolt... and put a washer every 2 layers... Once loaded up... tighten the nut right up... Then attach to a drill...as you would a drill bit....id recommend an old...plug in drill... but i dont have one...so use my cordless.... THEN BUFF ... Gives a nice finish

Sheffield Catapults 71
Good for the short term but you will find you can't dress it like you can a proper buffing wheel, also it won't last very long. Using a bench grinder would also give you a higher speed and the ability to have a mop for buffing and a mop for waxing. You can pick mops up for next to nowt at some markets

Trying to choose a nice frame design, but I'll need to buy a pouch and bandset for it (Been busy trying to get the decorating finished before winter sets in!)
