StephenWalsh 73
I bought half a dozen a year or so ago and give them a try every now and again. But I have never caught with them. Anyone had any luck? Quote Link to post

3175darren 1,100
They are easy to use mate, make sure you put them two a time, into a used run push jaws down into run bottom,to jently cover them,I have a decent size lanyard on mine,to peg them down, the only thing I find is the springs dont seem to retain much strength, and if you are in sand soil when the runs have been established for a long time, the tube/run is a lot larger than the jaw span, so sometimes I think the mole dosent hit the trap square on,you are not saying if the traps are disturbed when you find them,or not as the case may be, Quote Link to post
StephenWalsh 73
I think I am doing it right. I put a couple down as I said but also use Duffus and they seem to always get the mole before the Trapline ones. Ho hum, maybe I will sell them! Quote Link to post
Hawkeye. 26
I have 120 trapline , bed em properly in the run then they work well, if the ground is to hard to bed the trap in then use other trap's . Darren , I found the same with the spring's , now I leave the spring's free when not in use . Probably had 20 of them stolen off different job's , now I charge the land owner for the missing trap's . Hawkeye. 26
Last spring I set a pair of Trapline trap's in a run 5 yds from a Badger set, next day the flap of earth had been rummaged open but the trap's were untouched with a mole in one trap Quote Link to post
Mr Muddy 141
Hello Mate, If you’re getting results with the Duffus traps then good luck to you, why change. I’m just up the road from Littlehampton, so if you want rid of the Trapline ones I’ll be happy to give you a couple of quid each for them. Quote Link to post
Grizzly 26
I have 2 left out off 50 god knows where they all went I caught a mole the other week with 48 traplines in his pocket 2 Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 493
Personally, after some experience with them, i feel these traps are a bit overrated............. but i suppose the " each to their own " attitude , would also apply. Quote Link to post
