Younger the better or the older and wiser?

Nope try using the search engine at the top of the page fire in breeding ferrets or something along those lines

A young ferrets no had time to prove itself and will have a big litter a older jill should have proved shes worth breeding from and will has a smaller litter

Dont know my young jills produced 12 and 13 the last two years my older jill had 3 and 6 give me 3 kits any time

How old are the older jills? Based on that i do fancy breeding my jill once shes a bit older, don't fancy managing big litters. What age is too late do you think? Menopause? More chance of complications?

breed from your jill only if its a good worker ...... to stopt her coming into season you could get an injection for her from the vet

Get a jill jab or put a vasectimised hob in with her to stop or prevent anemia its the build up of estrogen when they consecutively dont breed when in season.

let her get at least 3 good seasons graft under her belt, and be sure that whichever hob you use has done plenty aswell. breed good workers to good workers and stand a better chance of producing good workers dont be in a rush to breed your ferrets it can be a pain in the arse lol
