You taffs and jocks would think the world was ending if it DIDNT piss down on you for one day :laugh:

Good job it does, keeps your northern brethren in water when it falls on Wales, the brummies and scousers would die of thirst if it didn't! Must remember to stop off for a piss in one of the resivours next time im off to Scotland and passing them by...

We start to get nervous here when the temperature plunges below 25 degrees and the wind blows hard enough to clear the smog and reveal these little twinkling lights in the sky that I am told are called "stars"

I think the weather people might have overreacted in their predictions so they didn't look as stupid as 1987. No rain at all here and just the odd puff of wind.

some of the pictures there showing on the BBC news this morning are from other storms as they showed them yesterday before the storm was here :laugh:

Typical wet Welsh morning here. Media report over 21,000 homes are without electricity and waves over 20ft high. This might be true but it all seems to have passed us by. Sure it was windy last night but nothing out of the ordinary.

Been up since 03:30 and it's been a bit blowy. 06:10, 2 of the neighbours wheelie bins took off like a couple of scud missiles ,, Thank f*ck they never came over and hit my car..

Also seen a couple of flocks of pigeons flying backwards when it gusted, as it eased they were away like Farrari's PMSL. Thought the fence might come down earlier during one of the gusts, but it seems OK... so far.
