If this case had been about a young couple from a councill housing estate,they'd have slaughtered them in the press,as scum.But for some reason,professional people in well paid job's don't get the same treatment. The whole thing STINKS.That poor child was neglected by them so called parent's,thats the fact,and at the moment we can only summise,the truth behind her dissapearance. Seriousley though!! there has to be something wrong with people who leaves kids like this alone and hardly show any emotion or remorse through out the days their Daughter has been missing? I'll stick with the other guys and say "GUILTY", Forensics are now sounding her out so they must have something to suspect her ...... Sitting at home twiddling your Poirot moustache and glibbly telling all and sundry that a mother murdered her child. I doubt you'd have the minerals to discuss your theories with her face to face. We all know through experience how the press works. This story sells papers, that girls face has been on the front of the mail/express everyday for 3 months - regardless of developments. The Portugese legal system is totally different - you can't draw parallells with British law. Therefore the press can work in a grey area and dramatise the events. However if I could just don the deerstalker myself for 5 mins. The phorensic evidence is blood in a hire car that was hired 25 days after the disappearance of the girl. With the world's press swarming around them are they supposed to have moved a corpse 3 weeks old??? Can't see it myself. If those are indeed the facts. I think this may be the crux of why people have a "gut feeling" about this case. I know it hasn't sat well with me but I don't know why. As for their cool demeanour, it could have something to do with their profession; that said I do find it somewhat disconcerting.
