My Probe I've Just Mad

Decided at long last to sort out and make a small probe for when we ferreting,as myself and rc1 have gone with out one for some time now and forever going on about making one to suit our needs.

After trying to find something descent to try and follow I give up and just went ahead with what I had in mind of what was needed.

Well have a look it's simple but that's all that's needed, would like a few comments of you guys n girls on what you think . ATB mark

Looks a bit thick bud, but if you happy with it.. I made one out of a skinny road spike from wickes for about 2 quid. Just a basic short T bar with a nut tacked on the end.

I must have used it mmm, at least once...

 

A mate uses a big flat head screwdriver with most of the blade ground down, says he can feel the break through fine with it.

BPR i reckon you dont see the need, my mate who is a blacksmith made me this one,

19 inches lonf fits in the bottom of my old Post Office bag,doesnt really add weight, only used it a couple of times, but did the job, if I need it, its there, and it cost me zilch.

that's just showing off lol my cost zero its just a road spike I got of site , its not that heavy nether don't really notice it to be truth full, took me ten mins to make , it was free and I don't need to worry about it bending when you come across that big mother fu##ingh rock right in the hole you just spent 10 mins digging with 1ft still to go anyway thanks for replying every one atb mark

I got one made but never use it as its just more to carry if im in doubt i put the box on the lowest setting and go up and down the walls of the hole ive dug then get the spade out again

I've put clips on top of ferret box sits nice and snug ,

I'm one of those who thinks forward like I don't need that today BUT I will take it just incase I do anyway lol

if I was from a posh back ground I could more than likely sell it to a gallery as art for £$£££££££ as we all know there some simple fu##ers who will pay it
