They are good dogs but can be headstrong for a newbie id personnally go for greyhound collie saluki

I'd be very careful with Saluki blood. If you're new to it, then you're learning too. A Saluki can test even the best and any mistakes that you make will be magnified.

Or even forget the saluki and just go straight to Hancock and get a collie x grey a few mates have had them and have taken everything pre ban and had the brains to go with the speed and u would be surprised how much staminer one of them things have got

brain of the collie, acceleration of the whippet, ferocity of the beddy, speed of the grey. in my opinion if you can get that then you have the blue print for the perfect worker, but the dogs ultimate performance would be really downto you, as in how you bond and train it . i personally prefer bitches for me they appear to work better

depends what you want him/her for? if its just out for a mooch and bit of lamping rabbits noting better than a handy whippet or whippetx BUT if your going out for the red lad colliehounds are very good alrounders and will nearly teach you!!!
