Bosun11 537
Grass grows slow all year round now, so you shouldn't really stop. Set your mower to a med or high cut an simply take the top off for a neat finish, especially if your lawn is an older one and grows a bit patchy. Just taking it all to one level really makes the difference over winter. I did mine today, that wind dried it out enough by 3pm, so worked up me dinner giving it a go over, looks smart now and the best bit is it won't need doing again for a good few weeks. Most important thing about lawns in winter is staying off 'em! Heavy traffic can make the best summer lawns look a feckin mess in no time now and it fecks 'em up for the new start come spring too. 04fox8 168
Hoping mine doesn't need any more this year now, Last twice it's been more like hoovering the leaves rather than cutting any grass. Tidies it up for about an Hr, then it's covered in f**kin leaves again !
