Borntohuntbow 8
Morning fellow hunters my dog was on lamp the other night he was turning like a bus he's a big dog like but my mate sak x gray turns better is there any way of improving this or is he not fit ? He looks fit but ? Should I make him look lean ? Quote Link to post
C Hall 552
It will help if he is fitter but the fact is some dogs do have the turning circle of a double decker bus Quote Link to post

jhiggins 48
Often this can be due to a neck problem. Took mine to a track vet with a similar problem and she put the bitch's neck back in place. Apparently it happens if they run into things, in my case mine crashed into another dog in the park. Hope that helps Quote Link to post
Con6212 155
I've seen 2 dogs turn like a bus totally different breeds too. Plenty of rabbits soon sort that out. Might take a while but they will eventually get the hang of it. Took a whole season on rabbits for 1 of the dogs to start turning better but it was worth it. 2 Quote Link to post
strayshot 105
Plenty of practice is probably the answer. If he's an inexperienced dog he's probably throwing himself around, whereas with some experience he will learn to anticipate the turn better. Also, hard ground can make even a sharp dog look a poor turner if it can't get any grip Quote Link to post
