I was wondering if it would be possible to make a catty out of polymorph so did a quick Google search which came up with this

I would say that was a bit ott but the basic idea is good I think, no sanding or sawing and just right for your hand.

Have a search on the Slingshotforum.com, all you need to know about it is on there. It's not as strong as HDPE though so be careful!

Have you ever used it? I don't think anyone will be worried about the strength of Polymorph. Get yourself some and try it. You'll be singing a different tune when you've got some experience of it.

It's cheap, strong, easy to work with and takes less preparation than HDPE.

Seen the video on youtube also....

Can see how you would mould a handle...using your hand etc....but how do you make the forks? :hmm: ...

I take it you flatten it out...let it cool and cut it?.... or?....

how did you make to forks for that?....

looks very 'workable'....and youve done a good job....

forks look a little high....and your grip low.... would imagine it would put a lot of strain on your wrist with powerful bands?

I made it all with my fingers, if a bits not quite right stick it back in hot water and change it. I bet it could be pushed into a mould too.
