Hardfeather 56
Hi all, I've been given a cinnamon redpoll cock and a satinette hen for muling, would the progeny sing much?

Hardfeather 56
Thank you, so as long as I use a finch cd and keep the young out of hearing of my cock canaries they should be ok. They're a proven pair and have raised young before

fireman 10,869
Redpolls aren't known as the best finch to use in muling as their own song isn't much, but i'm sure a redpoll mule if made to listen to another finch song will pick it up but it wouldn't imo be as sweet a song as a goldie mule would be.A couple of years ago i had greenfinch mules singing both greenie song and goldie song and the goldie song was a little harsher in sound than if the goldie mules made.Pretty little bird the cinny redpoll and i bred a few myself this year and lets have some pics please HF
