It's much nicer to just carry the ferrets and let the dog do all of the hard work. . . . . . last time I went ferreting without a dog, I broke my ankle trying to dive on a bolting rabbit. Annoying thing was i had already been ferreting for a few hours over different warrens that weren't holding. The first rabbit that bolted was the one I broke my ankle on and the following 5minutes was a big mad bolt fest with me trying to crawl to netted rabbits.. 1 Quote Link to post
