She is now 3 and this will be her second full season, I would hate to go back to ferreting without a dog. She is a good little marker and great for holding the rabbits in the purse nets and long nets till I get to them and if one does slip the net she's onto it. It is extra work and time having and working a dog but the rewards are great! 1 Quote Link to post

Country Joe 1,411 Posted October 22, 2013 Report Share Posted October 22, 2013 Neither Would I, there's a few crosses out there, that make good rabbiting dogs, its what ever you fancy and the ground you work. Marking for me is at the very top, nothing beats watching your dog catch after a good run, but at the end of the day, Marking will put more rabbits in the bag. saves a lot of wasted time.
