Good Gear On A Budget

Recommended Posts

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we post any gear that you think is useful and is fairly budget (Or just good value for money)

My contribution is a German army flecktarn jacket / parka.

It blends in very well against mixed bush. Not bad for £10. (I got it here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161057503330)

Thaught id mention what lamp(s) I use ideal for rabbits and are really good value for money

I used a 100w 150mm flashfire from a1 decoys for over a year and a half,

However a drunk mate of mine grabbed it to flash at a car

I had hold of part of it

And he pulled so hard it broke the handle, superglue it back together

And it's fine ...now my spare,

I've recently baught a very similar lamp from ebay from Woodside UK

It's the same size but the handle is a better stronger design

It's only 32.99...bargain

I found the bulb to be sitting a little too far out with a small mod

It now sits further in , it performs as well as my 39.99 from a1 and uses the same reflector

So thinking about that clulite...get one of these

As for batteries I use ultramax np14 now I did use there np9

At £12 for the np9 and 25 for the np14 both have been good batteries

And have had alot of use but id recommend at least 12ah for 100w lamps
