Relocating Hares.

Was gonna move a few hares off ould russhy land to a wee spot nice grassy fields for them to play in.do you need a licence anybody know.

if its in the south then yes you will need at least 3 one to catch. one to hold and one to release, i understand coursing clubs require 6 or 7 to operate within the law

in the north.......farmer wants rid make any difference. :thumbs:

iv a few spots picked out on that rushy ground were you couldnt miss. but i dont think they would stay to long on green fields

Slight off topic :angel:

 

In Ireland you have both brown and Irish hare.. ( I read that, might not be right )

 

Do they ever cross breed ??

 

Do they run the brown hares at the coursing clubs ??

loads of crossbred hares in tyrone an derry

killed one 3 weeks ago dont know if it was crossbred but it wasnt an irish hare, didht give much off a run to be honest
