Ratreeper 441
I use whetstones, start at 1000 grit and move up to 10,000 or more. You can strop it on a leather belt after or the edge of a window trick, makes them as sharp as a knife can realistically get but it takes a long time on the polishing stones to get a mirror edge that shaves the finest of hairs. I wouldn't mind a polishing wheel but instead (hopefully) getting new stones for my birthday soon instead, I have had to borrow the others off my brother, but honestly it's really not tricky. If you find some parts get sharper first then just focus on the other areas, or keep going over the whole blade either will work so it's fool proof. I find I wear my finger off where i lean on the stone to feel the angle though, I just notice a line of blood on the stone.

WILF 47,223
Blade-Tech sharpener, fits in your pocket, takes 2 seconds to put an edge on your blade and will do nearly every type of knife.......best £10 you will spend got one Wilf...They are ok. . . I think they damage a good blade though. Personally, I never buy knives that I wouldn't be happy to chuck away so I use the Moras.......at £7 a pop you don't mind luzzing it in a bush, buy them 3 or 4 at a go and they last for ages
Guest JLD91
Damp sand paper is what I use and find it works really well.
Addz131 7
My old man taught me to use the unglazed rim on the bottom of a coffee/tea mug not sure if its china or porcelain but it works well on getting a fine finish but as mentiond it depends on how much the edge has gone
