It's like everything in life .......there is a wrong and a right way to go about it! And due to the high number of idiots on here, there are a lot of folk who go about things the wrong way! In all hon

had a bit of ground to hunt on around Meath about 15 years ago, great place to hunt, roughly about 500 acres of land, plenty of hares, loads of bunnies, and lots of foxes,we would hunt there every sunday,

Tell the lads to feck off. Give them a slap. Phone the police. Whatever floats your boat. But shooting mans best friend? FFS. Anyone who shoots another mans dog deserves everything they get.   A mat

was with a farmer a couple of weeks ago and lads with hounds and l;urchers were on his land in september and his cattle were run into barbed wire fences and if he sees them again there dogs are going to be shot on site and the garda will be rang this was along the border.

I know a farmer that saw a couple of lads with dogs on his land poaching and he shot both the dogs with a rifle whilst they were still on the slips,, not fair on dogs but the lads shouldn't of been on there

A mate of mine once had his dog shot by farmer. No livestock nearby. He was just after a couple of bunnys. One man and his dog. The farmer regretted it for years to come

this his the problem, with lurcher folk and in some cases the terrier men also, how many can honestly say they aint poached one form and another . Not many and for those who havnt i take my hat off to yas ,But heres what i thinks under know curcumstances would i judge another man for abit a poaching etc , i have land and seen many folk on it ,dont matter ta me one i oata , good luck to all thats my motto lets not forget whaty the lurcher was developed for and the type off man wgho kept them to much double standards in the job . ITS BAD ENOUGH TRYING to make a dog with out all this bitching ova most likely a few bunnies .get a grip man .atb bunnys.

wtf was his name? Rambo? lol. I think that's a bit hard to believe for 1 if he shot the dogs on the leads with a rifle then he shot at people too as he could not tell how the bullet was going to ricochet and therefor had no safety in mind for the well being of human life so if that's true that farmer should have lost his ticket for dangerous shooting and was lucky he didn't kill somebody

thats the problem some just dont jump over they show no respect what saw ever for livestock/ property and lads with the perm get it in the neck if your were you shouldnt be just get on and off and do it discreetly we have all done/do it just treat it with respect and it wont come on top as much i remember 2 bull xs getting shot in the late 80s farmer had to move because of the threats and a old farmer were we had good perm getting his cheek bone broke because 2 lads were running there dogs through ewes that were about to drop and he asked them to leave the old lad always liked seeing the dogs work and i dont think would of minded them on if they had asked first instead they gave him a dig and his lads put a stop to all dogs on there shame as it was a good land
