It's like everything in life .......there is a wrong and a right way to go about it! And due to the high number of idiots on here, there are a lot of folk who go about things the wrong way! In all hon

had a bit of ground to hunt on around Meath about 15 years ago, great place to hunt, roughly about 500 acres of land, plenty of hares, loads of bunnies, and lots of foxes,we would hunt there every sunday,

Tell the lads to feck off. Give them a slap. Phone the police. Whatever floats your boat. But shooting mans best friend? FFS. Anyone who shoots another mans dog deserves everything they get.   A mat

i just dont get the big deal about this post, everybody who ever owned a lurcher as jumped over the fence that they shouldnt. You carnt keep lamping the same ground year in year out, unless you got 1000's of ground, and you not still going to be the only 1 goes on it, its common sence. To me its the farmer acting the prick, when stops a lad who he knows. Think about it, 1st you phone him up,2nd if he gets calls about the lamp that night, he knows its you, and he aint got to get out of bed or what ever to come after you.3rd if your out same night as who ever on there, norm they will piss off when they see another lamp on the same ground. A place ive been going on for 20 years, its only 60 acre's these feck all on it really the odd rabbit, but got sheep on so great to train pups on. the owner knows if i dont phone them, and they see a lamp there either get the cops or what ever to sort it out, and they never stopped me even if they seen other lamps on there .!!

In all honestly it would do our sport a hell of a lot of good if half the folk on here (or more) gave up the running dogs and kept goldfish ....

If you only have one peice of land to hunt you should look after it,stock it up before the summer months, ferret a few bunnies and put a few doe,s on it and leave them there for a few months,i have different land to hunt all over the country, some is really good,,some is ok and some are totally shite, but i ferret with the lads around April and i take a few doe,s and put them out on the bad land, leave them there till Xmas and then run the lamp over it,you will be surprised to see outcome of your work.

I can't understand why people r making a joke of a bunch of pricks have done to this lad and caused him to loose good permission if sum 1 did that to me I'd be burning their f*****g house down

Any land that holds game will often receive the attention of lads without permission, the reality of life im afraid,if a lad venturing onto your said permission is going to have his,or her, house burnt down for their discretion then i hope nobody ever does anything to really upset you Ghengis.
