Stock Breaking Dog Men

There's been loads of threads of good dog men good dogs blah blah ! So I've been lamping with this soft lad not very good with stock now I'm stuck , I can stock break a dog but he seems very timid when it comes to beast ! Well GAZ1989 to be fair !! Right I'm out lamping and find out he's playing hide and seek with the beast ! He's about 24 is it too late to start training !

Anybody got any tips , I would appreciate your replies ! I've thought about a shock collar would this work ???

I was thinking that but seems a nice sort ! Thought about retiring ! I'm sure between us we can work his mutt for him so she doesn't suffer

id say he does right. cows are unpredicable at the best of time, it only takes one to be silly and knock him over and wind the others up and then your in trouble.

I don't know about your particular problem but sounds like really ingrained learnt behaviour, you might want to rewire the collar to maximise the voltage
