47 in the last 3 months ... And they nailed 31 chickens and 60 plus pheasant and one guinea fowl... 33 vixens 4 dogs the rest cubs... All from 2 fields ... The majority of them looked like they were dumped, poor condition and just ran up a red light no calling required !?

You don't hunt around secret world do you :-) them idiots take in injured foxes and fox cubs feed them on dog food until there big enough to release then just see you later!! foxes with no way to hunt as they don't know how disgraceful behavior my mate was night fishing a lake a few miles away and 5 young foxes tried to break into his bivvie at 3am because of the smell of his bait / food even whacking with sticks did not deter them

The only thing I can think of is that they have fenced off the airfield and dug it in 3 ft ... So the only way foxes can now go is through our laying and poult field.. I did have one that knew the score ... I walked down to check birds at 11 pm one night with the Lurcher and gun and there was a fox between 2 x 100 metre laying pens but it's shut off at the end with security fencing.. Missed it with the 12... I'm a useless shot. Dog sees it and is off ... Bloody fox went straight over the 8 ft fence and left the dog looking a prize Wally lol but it took 2 weeks to get that one.. Had another in the live trap and it's legs were no bigger than 6 inch long !

  • 4 weeks later...

There's plenty about u just got to put the miles in.seen a few posts saying there's none near me.well start putting the miles in an it might change abit.....

mud I am out 3 4 times a week and I put the miles in. I don't think it has anything to do with the shooting digging or trapping as that has happened on most the land I hunt on for years. this year has just been a bad year for them. there cubs either didn't happen or died. I recon its got something to do with all the rain and lack of bunnies last year. its not the snow its the rain that knocks f**k out them. end of last season was picking up foxes that where just bloody bonny. seeing a few around now but leaving them quite unless on the shoots. hopefully better breeding seson this year. there all pairing up now and screaming away so lets wait and see. cheers snatch
