Low Fox Numbers

I have seen more fox than anything down my way ,but not many rabbits saw 4 last night within a few fields of each other ...

Very few foxes near me this year.... Rifle men are bumpin off cubs in the summer where I am and then wonder why there's no foxes about comin into winter... Recently I've heard that hound men are calling them in on the lamp and then shooting in the air to scare them for anyone that wants a bit of sport on the lamp :-(

and they say we all in hunting together, like feck we are if that true .

I see 5/6 times more badgers than foxes round me and hardly any rabbits either

Was at a house party in North Dublin last night,it was close to a place called Saint Annes Park in Raheny,the owner of the house told me the place was full of foxes,so i shone the lamp into the football fields around the park and i counted 12 foxes,left the party around 3 and counted another 6 that crossed the M1 on my way home,so no shortage of foxes in Dublin,but you cant shoot them inside the park but i am sure you could lamp them with a dog .

Been out a lot and seen next to no foxes. Plenty else about just very low fox numbers. Based in somerset. Any one else seeing lower numbers? Snatch

 

Yh mate seen plenty in my area every 3 or 4 fields I see 1 average some places like last wk counted at least 5 in one field it was a big field though
