air gun ant 1,666
hi lads, a mate of mine owns a farm and ive been shootiong there for aslong as ive been shooting, a few years back he bought some new fields with a small river running in the bottom and on the opposite bank its all wooded and rough. he never has and doesnt plan to do anything with it, i just shoot it. i asked him straight away if he would sell it and he said "yes id sell it you if you wanted it" but at the time i had quite alot of out goings and not enough coming in, but now im in a better position im thinking of "reminding" him about it lol its not much, probably 200 metres long and maybe 50 metres at one end tapering to a point sort of thing, no comerrcial value for timber i wouldnt think either just just wet boggy land with some bits of gorse and scraggy old trees with a small river running through the middle (my idea of heaven ) i dont want him to be out of pocket but i cant afford the world, what do think is a fair price between good mates? cheers lads atb ant

Waz 4,266
How did you get on? Bit late maybe, but..... is it possible for you to find out what he paid for it? If he borrowed the money to buy it ie + interest. Doubt if land has ever gone down in value!
